Let’s face it. The healthcare system is screwed up and all of us will suffer if we don’t pay attention to what’s going on in the news as it applies to our health and wellness. How else will any of us be able to successfully navigate the current healthcare system? Not to mention what will happen when our elected officials in Washington finish with it. Like they say, if you think healthcare is expensive now just wait until it’s free.

Take it from me, I know how to navigate this complicated maze that we call our healthcare system. I am a 57 year old physician with a law degree who retired on disability back in 2004. It doesn’t really matter what is wrong with me. Let’s just say that I’ve seen lots of doctors and other providers in the past 5 1/2 years.

I have a lot of education going to waste and while I may not have been the smartest doctor in the country I will go up against anybody when it comes to talking with patients and explaining complicated concepts. With this in mind I thought the opportunity to share some of my knowledge might be a good way to give back and make an old wrinkled up doctor feel like he is doing some good. Therefore I am attempting to write this blog and provide this information with the general public as my main audience. The only source of funding for this site is my wallet so what you read is not influenced by any outside sources. At the present time this site does not host or receive funding from advertising. 

On this blog we will cover the latest news that affects your health and well being. Also healthcare products that you might be interested in, various disease processes, newly approved drugs, news about dangerous drugs, ways to save money, and just about anything that affects your health. I’ll offer the opportunity for you to ask questions about your health and offer you some free reports containing valuable information.
